Badge Designer allows setting up of the page for printing multiple
cards on one sheet this is similar to a sheet of labels, there are
rows across the page and columns down the page. Because a badge is
small it is better to produce a number of badges at a time. The
settings page is accessed by clicking the calculator button.
On the left of the page is a label above which is the entry boxes for
the height and width of a single ID card, this size is the background
image size and although in millimeters the badge will be shown in
1/96 inch on the preview page, this being a single pixel size
as
there are 96 pixels to the inch for the screen.
When entering a dimension there is an indicator on the sample layout
to show which value is being altered. Changes only take place when
your cursor leaves the edit box, merely typing a value and leaving
the cursor in the box will not update the value, clicking the apply
button ensures all values are up to date.
